2010 Mitsubishi RVR Launched
February 17th, 2010 by Arman
Mitsubishi released new official images and details of their new and much anticipated small SUV, the RVR. This car is set to become a major player in the crossover segment, and for that it is equipped with a reasonable price tag!
The RVR is powered by a 1.8-liter, 16-valve DOHC MIVEC mated to the firm’s new and clever 6-speed CVT gearbox, both optimized for efficiency. The engine develops 102kW (139 hp) and 172 nm of torque.

The 4WD models adopt the electronically controlled 4WD system also used for the Outlander and the Delica D:5 that tailors traction control to the front and rear wheels to match driving conditions, where a selector gives the driver the choice of three driving modes (2WD, 4WD AUTO and 4WD LOCK).

This fairly compact SUV (4.3 meters long) comes with a sporty design very close to the sporty Lancer and feature a “Jet fighter” grille and LED lights, and can be had in eight different exterior colors.
The interior design too is very close to the Lancer and has the same sporty atmosphere. The genuine leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshift knob are standard equipment on “G” trim levels and a factory option on “M” trim levels.
