2010 Nissan Pathfinder And Navara Facelift
February 23rd, 2010 by Arman
For 2010 Nissan has given its popular Pathfinder SUV, and it’s more successful pickup truck sibling Navara, a subtle facelift, a new engine and upgraded equipments.
Despite a new bonnet, revised grille and a new bumper assembly, both cars look the same as old models. They also get new headlamp design and new 18-inch wheels. The existing colour palette is changed to include two new metallic shades for Navara – Electric Blue and Blue Grey – while Blue Grey is added to Pathfinder’s portfolio.

As for the interior, it comes with new switchgear, revised door trims, new seat fabric, the addition of chrome highlights, revised dials and, depending on the model, the availability of Nissan Connect Premium with a new high resolution touch screen. Equipment improvements include a new Speed Limiter, which is incorporated into the existing cruise control system, and a top notch audio system. They say that the quality is also significantly increased.

Pathfinder and Navara also get new direct injection V6 turbodiesel engine with output of 170 kW (231PS) and peak torque output of 550 Nm. This makes the pathfinder capable of towing a 3500 kg braked trailer with Navara having a 3000 kg limit. This unit also covers Euro 5 emissions standard.
The existing 2.5 dCi four cylinder engine is improved as well, with power rising by 19 PS to 140 kW (190 PS) and torque by 47 Nm to 450 Nm. New Navara and Pathfinder models are due on sale across Europe in April 2010.

February 22nd, 2010 by Arman
Chrysler has announced the UK pricing for the 2010 Jeep Patriot and revealed that it’s set to be a very affordable car. In fact, as they say it, it’s priced like a family hatchback!
The Patriot is a fairly capable off-road vehicle but it’s catastrophically ugly and maybe that’s why they had to lower the price to tempt hatchback buyers who want something more practical!

The new Jeep Patriot range will include five models, and comes with a 138 bhp 2.0-litre diesel with a six-speed manual gearbox and a 168 bhp 2.4-litre petrol engine with a five-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. Standard features on the Jeep Patriot include electric windows, air conditioning and 17”aluminium wheels.

2010 Ford F-150 Raptor selling like hot cakes!
February 21st, 2010 by Arman
With the new generation of the F-150 Raptor SVT, Ford has got the recipe for a perfect American pickup truck just right! Not only as a truck, the Raptor is so desirable as a car! Honestly, I’d rather have this high-speed off-road performance truck over most of the current sportscars.
And that’s why Ford is facing such a strong demand for it that they reckon the sales will beat even the most optimistic targets! Americans seem to like the new Raptor very much.

And what’s not to like! When it looks that good and is powered by a 5.4-liter Triton® V-8 three-valve engine delivering 320 horsepower and 390 ft.-lb. of torque. Mind you form Spring it’ll become just more fascinating because Ford is going to offer an all-new 6.2-liter V-8 engine, producing 411 horsepower and 434 ft.-lb. of torque for it.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the popularity of the F-150 SVT Raptor,” said Mark Grueber, F-150 Marketing manager. “Orders have exceeded our expectations. The truck is so popular that we actually wound up building more 5.4-liter V-8 models than we had originally anticipated. The order banks are now open for the all-new 6.2-liter V-8, and the orders keep rolling in.”

Black is said to be the best-selling color for the Raptor, which is now wonder as it looks fearsome in that. It’s a great sensation driving a scary car!
