Michelin’s special tires For 2010 Porsche Cayenne

The new generation of Porsche Cayenne might still have flaws in its styling, but as far engineering goes, that car is approaching absolute perfection!

To help with this, Michelin has developed new range of tires specifically designed for the new Cayenne. They include Michelin Latitude Tour HP, Michelin Latitude Sport and Michelin Latitude Alpin.

These ranges ensure that in summer and winter the new Porsche Cayenne will be equipped with tires that enhance safety performance, reduce its environmental footprint and last longer.

Michelin has been providing high performance tires for Porsche since 1960.

2010 Mitsubishi Outlander ‘Juro’ Special Edition

From July Mitsubishi is offering a special editoin of their Outlander 4×4 called the Juro. It comes with a vast range of visual and mechanical enhancements and is powered by a 2.2 liter DI-D diesel engine.

On the outside the Juro features Distinctive ‘Jet-Fighter’ grille gives Outlander the family face of Mitsubishi – in line with Lancer Evolution, Lancer and Colt, New front skid plate, New side sill garnish – black material with chrome accent, New colour keyed door mirror with side turn lamp and New chrome bezels for front fog lamps.

Also the new technical features include Twin-clutch SST Transmission, Hill start assist, Upgraded ETACS, and Emergency Stop signal System (ESS).

Pricing for the Outlander Juro starts from £25,999 for the manual and £27,199 for the SST gearbox.

Right Hand Drive Mercedes G-Class

From Autumn Mercedes will be offering in the UK the right hand drive version of the mighty G-Wagen after ten years.

This awesome 4×4 which turned 30 last year will be offered in the British market with either a diesel engine with the G350 CDI variant, or the full fat G55 AMG KOMPRESSOR powered by a supercharged 5.5 liter V8 developing near as makes no difference 500 hp.

Both the G 350 CDI and the G 55 AMG will feature a wealth of standard equipment including: Automatic climate control; automatic transmission, with high and low gear ratios; Bi-Xenon headlamps, heated seats with memory, leather upholstery (including the dashboard) as well as COMMAND, a reverse parking aid and a Harman Kardon Logic 7 Sound system.

Pricing starts from £79,975 for the G350 and a whopping £114,975 for the G55. OUCH!

2010 Mitsubishi L200 Trojan

Mitsubishi announced that they just decided to increase the value for money of their highly popular L200 by launching the Trojan special editoin.

The pickup truck is powered by a Euro IV 2.5 DI-D common rail turbodiesel engine with either 134bhp /314Nm and comes with a range of standard equipments including: 16” Alloy Wheels, Rear Differential Lock, Super Select 4WD, CD Player with MP3, Multifunction trip Computer, Climate control, Rear electric window, Chrome electric door mirrors with heater/folding function, Colour coded wheel arch extensions, Privacy glass, Chrome outer door handles and CAT 1 Alarm System.

BMW X1 to be built in China

BMW has set up a new production plant in Tiexi in the Shenyang, China mainly for the region-specific models such as the long wheelbase 5-Series, but now they are also considering bulding the X1 SUV there as well.

This will boost the production volume of this crossover. It will also expands BMW’s growing market in the promising Chinese market.

“We are confident that this market will continue to see strong growth over the next few years. Our goal is to participate in that growth over the long term,” Reithofer explained. “With our new plant in Tiexi, we will be increasing our production capacity in China to 100,000 vehicles a year from 2012 on. Over the long term, we anticipate the two plants having combined potential for as many as 300,000 vehicles a year – depending on market trends. We may realistically need this potential over the long term”.
