2011 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty
February 10th, 2010 by Arman
At 2010 Chicago Auto Show Chevrolet unveils the new 2011 Silverado Heavy Duty Pickup truck, which does not feature any significant visual upgrades over the current model, but that’s fine because it looks just awesome!
This truck clearly has the new Ford Super Duty in sight and apparently it got what it takes to bring it down as the king of the heavy duty trucks.

Apart form the body most of the technical features of the new Silverado are actually new! It comes with refined chassis and suspension and also gets new 17-inch standard or 18-inch and 20-inch optional wheels. The dual rear-wheel tires model still get 17-inch rims but comes with fatter tires. Payload, economy and safety are all improved in the new model.
Under the bonnet you can have either a DRW 6.0 liter petrol V8 or a 6.6 liter Duramax diesel V8. It comes with a six-speed Allison automatic transmission.
