While only a few years ago, GPS navigation systems were clunky and cost a couple of grand, today you can buy a portable or in dash GPS navigation system for just a couple of hundred bucks. If you drive your truck for work or commute back and forth, there are plenty of great reasons to have one in the car to find new locations, as well as know where you going when a detour sprouts up unexpectedly.

Radar Detector
If you drive for a living, a speeding ticket can wreak havoc on your record. While no one is condoning speeding, a radar detector is a great way to keep you in check on your speed. Today’s radar detectors are mighty sophisticated and besides being able to find radar traps, they are also able to find laser traps as well. You’ll get a jump on when there is a speed trap and this way you can double check your speed to make sure that you are abiding by the law.

Do you drive cross country or out of town where you can’t easily receive radio signals, now even if you drive an old truck or SUV, you can easily listen to your iPod or mp3 tunes with an FM transmitter. You just plug in your iPod or mp3 player into the FM transmitter and then turn your radio on to a specific frequency- voila; you can now hear your music even on your radio that is over 20 years old.
