• 4.8L V-8 with iron block; rated at 302 hp and 414 Nm of torque

During the game, Chevrolet also will present a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado to the Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans. The Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans is a part of Achilles International, which provides support to athletes and veterans with disabilities in gyms, parks, and tracks all over the world.

“Chevrolet and the Army have worked hand-in-hand since the Chevrolet Suburban was used for troop transport in World War II,” said Bob Beretta, senior executive associate athletic director, U.S. Military Academy. “And we look forward to Chevrolet’s continued support.”

The 2010 Chevy Captiva LTZ comes standard with full leather, climate control, cruise control, electrically-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic lights and wipers, bold 18-inch alloys, unique rear light clusters, privacy glass, ESC and electrically-folding door mirrors, plus new reverse-parking camera and a touch-screen satellite navigation unit with 7-inch display.

The Silverado HD will be offered in work truck, LT and LTZ trim levels, and will begin production in May.  Delivery to dealers is expected in early June. All models come with a segment-best five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

The car features a White Diamond Tricoat exterior color and Cashmere interior, along with unique 20-inch chrome-clad wheels and new roof rack rails, and special badging adorns the C-pillar sail panel and steering wheel plus Diamond Edition lettering on the headrests and sill plates.

The Suburban Diamond is based on the LTZ trim level so comes standard with leather upholstery, air conditioned seats, XM Satellite Radio with NavTraffic, Bluetooth phone connectivity, a rearview camera system, rear parking assist, remote starting and adjustable pedals.

Optional equipment includes a DVD-based rear-seat entertainment system, articulating running boards, a sunroof and Side Blind Zone Alert. Mobile WiFi can also be added at the dealership.

This special editoin is powered by a Vortec 5.3L FlexFuel engine mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. But you may also have the more powerful 2500 models with a 6.0L engine.
