Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Concept
November 4th, 2009 by Arman
For years Chevrolet Silverado has been the coolest pickup truck by General Motors, and now it’s just got better as the company unveils the ZR2 concept model at 2009 SEMA show.
It’s a creation of GM’s performance parts center and a modified body and a hugely powerful engine.

One of the coolest features of this magnificent truck is the extensive use of carbon fiber in its body, front fenders, hood, fender flares, side sills and tailgate are all made of this light weight material which you used to see only in high-end sportscars! It also features a unique locking storage system mounted to the extruded aluminum Cargo Management System rails from Chevy Accessories.

The car is fitted with 20-inch BBS RD wheels and Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires connect to the chassis via BDS shocks and a four-inch lift kit. This combination not only works great off road, it gives the car an aggressive presence.
And it needs to have an aggressive presence because what’s under the bonnet is furious! It’s a 550-hp supercharged V8 from GM’s LS series, the ones that they put in the performance cars such as the Corvette and Camaro.
